MHLAC prioritizes cases where a parent’s mental health history or allegation of a mental health disability is being used by the other parent to take custody away or restrict or decrease your parenting time.

Be sure to fully fill out the intake request form below. This information helps us to determine what level of assistance we may be able to provide, including referrals if this is not a matter we can handle.

If you are currently represented by an attorney, MHLAC cannot advise or represent you. MHLAC’s FLP staff may provide technical assistance to your attorney on the mental health aspect of your case upon their request.
